The Chronically Chic Awards 2025
We may earn commission from links on this page, but we only recommend products we genuinely love and use.
Hi friends!
Every year, I spend all 12 months testing, trying, buying, loving, hating, breaking, fixing, praising, cursing, and obsessing over more products, trends, foods, shows, and random life upgrades than any human reasonably should.
These awards were originally supposed to launch last year, but if you were here in November and December 2024, you already know what happened. I was so sick I basically disappeared until after New Year’s, and this project had to wait.
I want this to become something I bring back every year. A small tradition between us. A way to look back at what actually made an impact on my life and what stayed. Not what was trendy for a week, but what survived routines falling apart, energy tanking, schedules changing constantly, and all the emotional chaos I did not ask for.
Some of these awards are serious, and some are absolutely not. Some are based on performance, consistency, and results. Others are based on the fact that I am a human woman with opinions, cravings, comfort items, emotional support products, phases, grudges, and very specific taste.
This is not the Grammys. This is my universe. Some winners earned their spot, and some simply refused to lose because I said so.
Welcome to the 1st Annual Chronically Chic Best Of Awards! Let the excitement begin!!
(Pictures may appear out of order on mobile… sorry!!)
BEAUTY
Best Skin Product
Winner: Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
This mask turned dehydrated, stressed-out skin into calm, glowy, angel-level skin in under ten minutes. It saved my face more times this year than sleep did, which says a lot.
Best Under $20 Beauty
Winner: Color Wow Dream Coat Spray
Humidity tried its best this year and Dream Coat shut it down every single time. This spray makes my hair look like I have a personal glam squad following me around, even when I absolutely do not. For something under twenty dollars, the performance feels wildly unfair to salon products.
Best Fragrance
Winner: Henry Rose (any scent)
Henry Rose nailed clean formulas without smelling flat or sad. Every scent feels cinematic, like it belongs in a movie still instead of a health aisle. Get $10 when you use my link!
Glycine quietly calmed my nervous system when life felt like a full circus. It helped with sleep, recovery, glow, and overall resilience. It is also shockingly affordable for how much it gives back.
Did More Than My Therapist
Winner: Norb Lighting
Norb lighting stabilized my mood faster than half the coping skills I was taught. It made my home feel warm, cozy, and emotionally safe in a way I did not expect. It became part of my healing era this year without trying too hard.
HOME + LIFESTYLE
Best Kitchen Tool
Winner: Digital Meat Thermometer
This tool removed the mental load from cooking proteins completely. One less thing to think about when energy is low makes a bigger difference than people realize. It saved more meals than I can count.
Best Cleaning Product
Winner: Bissell Little Green
The only reason my furniture still looks presentable. It handled messes I assumed were permanent and earned a permanent spot in my house.
FOOD
Best Dinner Recipe
Winner: Broccoli Cheddar Quesadillas
Fast, comforting, and reliable. This became a repeat meal almost immediately and is exactly what I cook when energy is low, but I still want something satisfying.
Best Dessert
Winner: Mexican Coke Blondies
Gooey, rich, and slightly unhinged in the best way. People asked for this recipe immediately after trying it. It feels fun without being complicated.
Best Restaurant
Winner: Corfinio’s
Consistently good without trying too hard. Comfort food that still feels special and is one of the few places that never disappoints.
Best Store-Bought Item
Winner: Yo Mama’s
Clean ingredients without sacrificing flavor. Something I reach for without thinking that instantly makes weeknight cooking easier.
Unexpected Food Obsession
Winner: Broccoli Cheddar Everything
It appeared in far more meals than planned and somehow never got old. Apparently, this was my entire personality for a while. I’ll be making a post with all my fave Broccoli Cheddar recipes in one place soon, so stay tuned!
FASHION + STYLE
She Is the Moment Award
Winner: Sabrina Carpenter
Her 2025 tour outfits were everywhere for a reason. The corsets, minis, hair, and silhouettes defined a very specific pop-girl look this year. One of the clearest style eras of 2025 from start to finish.
Best Trend
Winner: Butter Yellow
Butter yellow managed to feel soft, romantic, and expensive all at once. It photographed beautifully, which matters a lot for my brand, and somehow worked perfectly with my pink aesthetic without clashing. No other color trend came close this year.
POP CULTURE + ENTERTAINMENT
Best Album
Winner: Lady Gaga’s MAYHEM
This album soundtracked a huge part of my year. Zero skips, maximum impact, and the one I returned to the most.
Best Song
Winner: Abracadabra
Instantly addictive and an immediate serotonin boost. A song I kept coming back to all year.
Best Pop Culture Moment
Winner: Gagacabana
Honorable Mention: Gagachella
A full-scale pop spectacle that took over timelines in real time. Even non-fans had to stop and pay attention. This is the kind of moment people will reference years from now.
Best Podcast
Winner: The Skinny Confidential
Informative without being exhausting and one of the few podcasts I consistently finished. It shaped a lot of my thinking this year.
Best Internet Trend
Winner: Romanticizing Life
It made ordinary days feel intentional without being embarrassing. One of the rare trends that actually worked and gave permission to treat small routines like a moment.
BIG AWARDS
Real Housewife of the Year
Winner: Mary M. Cosby
She returned with the sharpest confessionals and the most unpredictable energy. She could move from hilarious to unsettling to profound in a single scene. No one in 2025 moved the story by simply existing the way she did.
Woman of the Year
Winner: Lady Gaga
Creative dominance across the board. She fueled an entire personal creative challenge for me and defined the year culturally.
Man of the Year
Winner: Wesley
This award will go to a human in the future. This year, it had to honor Wesley. He was the heart of my home and the love of my daily life. Losing him changed my year in a way nothing else did. To read more: For Wesley
Favorite Blog Post
Winner: Wesley Tribute
The piece that mattered most to me to write and the most personal thing I published this year. A reminder of why I write at all.
Favorite Project
Winner: The Gaga Mashup Challenge
It required real commitment over an extended period of time and pushed me creatively and technically. One of the clearest expressions of my artistic voice this year. More on this coming soon!
Wrapping Up 2025…
This year clarified what kind of creator I want to be and what kind of work feels worth doing. The strongest moments came from leaning into my passions, consistency, and taste instead of chasing noise. That shift shaped everything I made.
If you made it this far, thank you for being here and letting me turn my entire year into a very opinionated awards show. This list is part love letter, part highlight reel, part comfort watch, and part personal victory lap. These winners are not just things I liked. They are the products, moments, meals, songs, and obsessions that carried me through hard weeks and made ordinary days feel more exciting.
I hope you found a new favorite, felt seen in at least one category, and enjoyed the fun. Cheers to the first annual Chronically Chic Awards. See you next year!
